The Rowing Room Café

You may have seen we have a stylish new café at the Museum, The Rowing Room. Run by the team behind the popular Velolife cafes in Twyford, Wargrave and Warren Row, they have transformed the space into a calming, modern venue. We are very happy to have forged this new partnership at the end of 2023 taking our provision from strength to strength.

Not only does the Rowing Room deliver excellent food and drinks in a relaxed setting, baked goods are provided by Tim Goodwin, an award-winning local baker. Goodwin was recently crowned Baker of the Year at the Baking Industry Awards 2023. This was his second win in three years, an unprecedented feat. Goodwin founded The Street Bakeshop in Hampshire and we are very fortunate to have him as a supplier for The Rowing Room Café. If you haven’t tried his delectable cakes and pastries yet, come and unwind at the Museum and make a day of it.
