The Buckinghamshire Craft Guild is delighted to present FLOW, a showcase exhibition taking inspiration from the river and its environs.

Established in 2017, The Buckinghamshire Craft Guild promotes the best in designer and applied contemporary crafts in the county and surrounding areas. We are 33 artists working in ceramics, glass, furniture, printmaking, jewellery and enamelling, lettering, textiles and paper art, as well as leather, metal and wood.

OPENING DAY EVENTS
To celebrate the opening of the exhibition on Saturday 12th July there will be a series of free drop-in activities to enjoy as follows:
  • A drop in, ‘Make and take’ children’s activity session. Join artists Kate Wilkinson making junk jewellery, Maud Eager playing with clay and Hilary Audus (one of the animators on the original Snowman film and co-wrote and directed ‘The Snowman’ and the snow dog’) who will be showing the children how to draw the snowman and snow dog. 11am – 1pm in the Thames Room. Parents must remain with their children to supervise them while undertaking the activities. 
  • A ‘Meet the maker’ session, including practical demonstrations. Meet artists Heather Larson (Jewellery), Rachel Wright (embroidered textiles) and Elizabeth Bond (Leatherwork). 11am – 1pm in the Community Gallery
