Make the most of this Easter break with fun family activities at the Museum! Here is the full line up of events for your family and friends. Booking links and full information for individual events are below:

 

Saturday 5th – Monday 21st April: 

Easter Trail

Go on a hunt around the Museum and receive a chocolate treat at the end.

Most suitable for age 3 and over.

£2 per trail (Museum admission/annual pass required)

 

Monday 7th April: 

Spring Stories and Crafts

Join our wonderful storyteller Sarah for Spring time stories followed by a seasonal craft.

Most suitable for age 7 and under.

Wednesday 9th April:

Work & Play Holiday Club

Work & Play Holiday Club: Struggling for childcare over the Easter holidays? Looking for something enriching and engaging for your children to do whilst you work or whilst you take a break? We have the answer… bring them to the River & Rowing Museum! Following the successful launch of Work & Play last summer, we will be running the workshops again this Easter. Children will be introduced to various art techniques by our amazingly talented art tutor Camilla and will create their own pieces.  They will learn techniques such as screen printing, block printing, painting, drawing and much more as well as social skills such as team work!  10% off hot drinks in our Café when showing receipt at the till.
Suitable for primary school aged children.

9.30am – 4pm (please arrive at 9.20am to check-in at Front Desk. The café will be open from 9.30am), £30 per child, 2 children for £58. Full information and booking link here:

Tuesday 15th April

Pizza Play Café

Come along to our pop-up Play Café. Under the expert guidance of our Café team, have a delicious pizza decorated by yourselves and enjoy self-led play and craft activities in our beautiful Riverside Thames Room.
Each child will decorate and eat 1 personal pizza. There will be a range of vegetarian toppings to choose from. Please note that all pizzas contain wheat, gluten and dairy and are pre-topped with tomato sauce and cheese. Parents can buy take away drinks/food from our Café to bring into the Thames Room. There will be a variety of play equipment set up in the room along with craft activities which families can help themselves to. Adults must stay with their children at all times and supervise the play and crafts. Museum staff will be on hand to assist with activities and the pizza decorating will take place all together on arrival, there will then be some time for playing before pizzas are served at approx. 11.45am/12pm. You are welcome to then stay for more playing and crafts until the event finishes.

Please Note:

All children must be accompanied by an adult (18+), free of charge. Activity charge is in addition to Museum admission, but you do not need to visit the Museum to access the activities (except for the Easter Trail).
