Day Workshop: Autumn Landscape Oil Pastel Resist & Watercolour

Join us for 'Autumn Landscape Oil Pastel Resist & Watercolour' with artist Caroline Crawford, part of a series of Autumn themed day workshops at the Museum.

‘Autumn Landscape Oil Pastel Resist & Watercolour’ is a workshop for intermediate ability adults. Autumn Forest Study using oil pastel resist and watercolour layers, finished with gouache.  Students create an autumn woodland landscape painting . They learn about layering, colour blending and application, as well as creating texture with  a variety of art materials.  All materials provided with expert tuition from Caroline.

  • Adults only, All materials are provided by your tutor, hand outs and image references also provided for use on the day.
  • Friendly, professional tuition, with lots of demos and one to one expert tuition throughout the day.
  • Coffee and refreshments available from the café, Free parking for the workshop day.

The day will be structured as follows:

10am start

12.15pm – 1pm break (Please bring a packed lunch)

4.30 pm finish
